During lunch at the office today I overheard that ADAM will be giving away free t-shirts($50) through the following website: www.iwentthisfar.com . Apparently the marketing team has been putting beach balls into cabs all over NYC. Weird! Anyway there is a password to get into the website and I think it is “fortruelove” but I’m not entirely sure about that. The gist of the game goes like this… all you have to do is submit a video or pic or just text about how far you would go for your true love… (hence my thoughts on the password). Then they send you a shirt!
I dont think I can participate, but if anyone wants to check it out, let me know how it goes!

But here Lippes achieved T-shirt ease with khaki cotton sateen cut into a smart little dress or cropped pantsuit; great pieces like a quilted bolero with tulle-covered crystals (still refreshingly simple in all white); and maxi dresses in buttery jersey or featherweight taffeta. Despite his vacation bent, the designer stressed the wear-now factor, particularly in multitasking knits that will be right for Barbados and the Bowery.

One of my favorite TV personalities is Kelly Ripa. Great style combined with a down- to-earth delivery makes her one of today’s most loved hosts. As I was perusing the Live with Regis and Kelly website I came across Kelly’s Fashion Finder. Everyday Kelly uploads a video describing her outfit, including the brands and places to buy. I love her classic American style. It’s flirty and feminine without taking Fashion too seriously. Check out the link below!
Hey all! Because this is my first official blog post on this site, I want to start by letting you all in on a little secret I just discovered while doing the daily rounds on my favorite fashion sites. I’m sure most of you have heard ofbluefly.com, the self-proclaimed “ultimate hook-up for the fashion obsessed”. In other words, this website is a way for fashion savvy internet surfers to get quality products at generously discounted prices. Pretty great, huh? Well, now there’s a new feature that’s equally as awesome- if not better- than bluefly.com itself. If you go to the main website and click on the “b*fly” icon at the top of the screen, you’ll be introduced to a section solely featuring today’s freshest up-and-coming designers. Among some of my favs featured in this section is ADAM by Adam Lippes. I happened to stumble upon this brand while shopping in the meatpacking district in NYC and it has quickly become one of my favorites- you should really give it a look. Some of my other featured favorites: Alice + Olivia, Calvin Klein, Catherine Malandrino, Ella Moss, Graham & Spencer, and Theory, just to name a few. You guys should all go check out this site if you get a chance. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on little webgems that I happen to stumble upon in my quest to fill and refill my closet.
